BECHTELSVILLE, PA May 25, 2016 . . . Racing action returns to Grandview Speedway on Saturday, May 28th and the competition should be intense for the NASCAR stock car racers. The racers are returning after three weeks of rainouts so all of them will be intent on getting back into action and making up for lost opportunities in the chase for the lucrative track and NASCAR titles.

The coming weekend will feature a tripleheader show of NASCAR stock car racing on Saturday night, May 28, featuring the NASCAR T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. Racing will start at 7:30 p.m. with spectator gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

The popular racer meet and greet, presented by Low Down and Dirty radio, is set for 5 p.m. and will feature Modified ace Tim Buckwalter, Late Model standout Wayne Pfeil and veteran Sportsman talent Brad Brightbill along with their race cars.

Grandview 4-23-16 452 (1024x516)Again this week Pocono Raceway and WNPV-1440AM Radio in Lansdale, the area NASCAR station, will be trying to give away more than $1,000 worth of tickets for the big NASCAR racing weekend at Pocono, June 4-5.

On Sunday the Pioneer Pole Buildings Thunder on the Hill three division show will feature Big Block/358 Modifieds, Sportsman and TSRS 305 Sprint cars in racing action starting at 7:30 p.m. Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. The Big Block/358 Modifieds will be racing for $5,000 to win and that will surely attract many top names in the sport. This will be an NASCAR point event for the 358 Modifieds that have an NASCAR license. Adult admission is $25 while young people 6-11 pay $10 and those under 6 will be admitted FREE. Pit admission is $35 with no special license required.

Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay track, is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown. A full assortment of great concessions and novelty items are available. Free parking on the grounds. Fans are invited to the competition area after the events are completed to meet the racers.
