BRUCE AND TERESA ROGERS CONTINUE RECOVERY FROM FLORIDA AUTO ACCIDENT; NEW LOOK WEBSITE WITH UPDATED RULES IN PLACE AND SEASON GETS GREEN ON MARCH 26TH

BECHTELSVILLE, PA – There could be a repeat champion in the T.P. Trailers NASCAR 358 Modified division and in the BRC NASCAR Late Models at Grandview Speedway this season. Craig VonDohren will be back to try for his 9th title in the Modifieds while Chuck Schutz will be shooting for his 8th championship in the Late Models.
However in the NASCAR Sportsman there will be a new champion as the 2015 titleholder Brett Kressley is moving on up to the Modifieds and will be driving the Norm’s Save Station #357 owned by veteran car owner Norm Hansell. That will leave the championship open for a number of Sportsman talents to challenge for the title. Early season favorites would include Craig Whitmoyer, Brad Brightbill, and Kenny Gilmore, along with a number of others. It should all make for a very interesting season.
The 54th consecutive season of stock car racing on the one-third-mile, banked clay oval will kick off with a free-to-the public practice session at noon on Saturday, March 26th. Then on Saturday, April 2, 7 p.m. the battle for the lucrative point titles in each division. Grandview Speedway continues to be one of the very few tracks in the nation that offers racers two point funds with money coming from NASCAR and from the Rogers family.
Season tickets remain available for $350 and that give the season pass holder a seat for every Saturday night event between April and September. Send a check/money order payable to Grandview Speedway to 87 Wilt Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope to speed the return of the season pass.

Speaking of rules, Tina and Kenny Rogers, responsible for the operation of events at Grandview, are reminding all competitors planning to race at Grandview to acquaint themselves with the rules, which can be found on the website, so there is no confusion or questions once the season is open.
UPDATE ON THE BRUCE AND TERESA ROGERS AS THEY RECOVER FROM AUTO ACCIDENT. As many may be aware Bruce and Teresa, owners of the Grandview Speedway, were involved in a serious auto accident in Daytona Beach, Florida about two weeks ago. They continue their recovery. Teresa is in a rehabilitation facility while Bruce is in the ICU at the Florida Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida. Cards and letters will reach them at 173 Bear Foot Trail, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174.
The Rogers family appreciate the good wishes along with the many cards that have been received.
