The ‘Slideways Six’ Roll Off at New Egypt Speedway

New Egypt, NJ – June 16, 2016- The ‘Slideways Six’ Round of the May Madness Modified Series presented by Amwell Auto Body is set to do battle this Saturday night June 18th at New Egypt Speedway.

The six remaining drivers in the 24 car bracket are Clay Butler, Dominick Buffalino, John McClelland, Tad Cox, Lou Cicconi and Ryan Godown. Only three of these drivers will reach the May Modified Madness Finale which is on June 25th presented by Oliver Communications Group and Oliver Construction.

There they will meet the two drivers that have already won their way to the finale which are Billy Pauch Jr. fresh off of his $10,000+ win at New Egypt in the Dirty Jersey 4 and Danny Bouc.

As of right now the overall May Modified Madness Champion will receive $800 with $300 and $200 going to second and third respectively, the May Modified Madness Finale next Saturday will feature a 35 lap double points feature for the 358 Modifieds paying $2,700 to win making it s $3,500 night if the driver would sweep the race and the championship.

The May Modified Madness Series is a unique bracket-type series where drivers compete in a race within a race throughout the four 358 Modified races at New Egypt Speedway during the month of May and June culminating with the May Modified Madness Finale on June 25th.
