Racing Resumes Saturday, July 9th at the Orange County Fair Speedway

OCF_1697b-XLMIDDLETOWN, NY- July 5, 2016- Following a July 2 Holiday recess at Orange County Fair Speedway, Stock Car racing will resume on Saturday, July 9 with a full program of Big-Block Modified, Sportsman, Rookie Sportsman, and Street Stock racing. Also on the card will be the season’s third appearance of the open-wheel CRSA Sprint Cars.

In eight Big-Block Modified feature races to date, there have been eight different winners.  Victors include point leader Tommy Meier, second place in points Billy Vaninwegen, LJ Lombardo, and Bob McGannon. Also Mike Ruggiero, Steve Dodd, Jeff Heotzler, and Donnie Wilson.

Sportsman division winners include Jesse Leiby (two wins), Tyler Johnston, Randy Sweetman, Anthony Falanga, Frank Venezia, and Dillon Steuer.

Mike Vigiletti (two wins) is also the point leader in Street Stock competition. Other winners this season include Jim Maher Jim Hajkowski, Paul Maiolo, and Kevin Schlossareck.

In two pervious appearances of the CRSA Sprint Cars thus far in 2016, the winners were Eddie Strada and Tyler Jashembowski.

Admission prices for the July 9 race meet remain at $15 adults, $13 seniors, and $1.00 for children 12 and under. The full night of racing begins promptly at 6:30 pm.
