Albany-Saratoga To Close Out 50th Season With Banquet Saturday

Malta, NY – The Albany-Saratoga Speedway will officially close out the 2015 season on Saturday night with the annual Awards Banquet. The location will once again be the beautiful  Saratoga/Wilton Elks located at 1 Elks Lane in Saratoga Springs, New York (12866). Everything kicks off at 6pm with light hors d’oeuvres with dinners catered by Waterford Banquets to be served at 7pm.

The 2015 racing season was the 50th for the Great Race Place. The top ten in the final point standings in the Upstate GMC Dealers DIRTcar Modified, Sportsman, DIRTcar Pro Stock and Street Stock divisions will be honored as well as the Track Champions in the Greg’s Towing and Repair Dual Cam and Single Cam Four Cylinder divisions.

In the Upstate GMC Dealers DIRTcar Modified division Kenny Tremont, Jr. picked up his record 13th track championship in 2015 while Derrick McGrew will be honored for his first Sportsman title at the fast, four tenths of a mile speedway. Likewise a pair of full fender drivers earned their first track titles – Kenny Martin (DIRTcar Pro Stocks) and Randy Miller (Street Stock). Steve Ryan (Dual Cam) and Mike Parodi (Single Cam) won the Greg’s Towing and Repair Four Cylinder titles.
