MINERSVILLE, PA –February 11, 2017-  Big Diamond Speedway will once again have Sunoco Racing Fuels and Insinger Performance as the official fuel supplier for the 2017 season.

With the announcement also comes word that Sunoco has introduced a mandatory ‘spec’ fuel for this year and the track will begin random fuel testing following the April 7 Money in the Mountain big block/small block challenge race.

The fuel can be purchased from any authorized Sunoco race fuel dealer or the track. The spec fuels will be Sunoco Standard 110, Sunoco Supreme 112, or Sunoco HCR Plus. No oxygenated fuel.

The spec fuels have a marker in the fuel and cannot be copied for testing purposes. Testing will be done throughout the season.

Methanol will also be tested on a regular basis with Sunoco methanol being used as the base fuel for testing. Any fuel not meeting the proper Sunoco specifications will be deemed illegal and you will be disqualified.
