thumbnail_28fWest Lebanon, NY-March 9,2016 – Stan Frankenfield has spent 12 years racing Big Block Modifieds in and around his home state of New Jersey. The feature winning steel wheeling warrior has made the trip to the high banks of Lebanon Valley Speedway in the past as a spectator, but in 2016 he’s looking for a change in scenery. This led Frankenfield to call the valley of speed his Saturday night home for the upcoming racing season.

Frankenfield started his career piloting 358 Modifieds before moving to the Big Block division. He’s turned a majority of his laps at tracks such as Bridgeport Speedway, New Egypt Speedway, and Five Mile Point. This coming racing season he’s looking forward to making Lebanon Valley his main racing focus.

“Travel time doesn’t matter to me. Lebanon Valley is about 3 hours away from my home, but I’d drive 7 hours if the track was good and they treated me right. That’s what got my attention at Lebanon Valley,” began Stan Frankenfield.

“I had a conversation with Howard Commander about racing Lebanon. We kicked around ideas, talked racing, and it was refreshing. Not many promoters will talk with drivers in depth like that, listen to your concerns, and give you advice,” continued Frankenfield.

The Mechanic Station New Jersey driver is ready to rock and race with a brand new Bicknell Racing Chassis. When he hits the clay on the high banks he’ll also have a brand new Chuck CeeCe 18 degree Big Block power plant.

160308lvs_01“We have a brand new Bicknell car we’ll power with a new 18 degree motor from Chuck (CeeCe). Our goals are realistic, which is to be competitive, finish top 10 in points, and just be consistent each week. Of course we’d love to visit victory lane. What driver wouldn’t,” Frankenfield concluded.

He has a dedicated group of crewmembers, great sponsor support, and of course the blessing of his father.  The team is preparing a 2nd car as well for backup, but one of Frankenfield’s proudest accomplishments came last April with the birth of his daughter.

Frankenfield is happy with how Lebanon Valley operates, enjoys the family friendly atmosphere, and saw clean racing during his visits. He’ll hit the high banks in 2016 with one message from the Commander (Howard), “I hope he has a great time with us at Lebanon Valley and knocks out a win.”
