BREINIGSVILLE, PA – For the first time, the Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Hi-Tek will host a ‘Night of Champions’ to honor its point title winners, top performers and series supporters.

The series Awards Banquet takes place on Saturday, December 19 in Breinigsville, Pa., just outside of Allentown, at the Holiday Inn Allentown-I-78 (Lehigh Valley). The top-12 drivers from the Bob Hilbert Sportswear North Region, top-10 from the Pioneer Pole Buildings Inc. South Region and champion from the STSS XCel 600 Modified mini-series, will be in the limelight.

Special awards will be presented as well as recognition of series sponsors and host track operators.

More than $59,000 in cash point fund money will be distributed during the evening. Teams will need to have a representative on hand to collect their point fund checks.

Tickets are now available at $40 each. The ‘Night of Champions’ is open for all who want to attend. Drivers eligible for point fund money will receive a ticket order form in the mail. A buffet-style meal will include salad with assorted toppings and dressings, rolls with butter, marinated beef tips in mushroom burgundy sauce, herb stuffed chicken, Yukon mashed potatoes, green beans Almondine, assorted dessert display, hot tea and coffee. There will be a cash bar.

Doors will open for the ‘Night of Champions’ at 6 p.m.

Discounted rooms at the Holiday Inn are available now at $99/night by calling 610.391.1000 and mentioning the BD Motorsports Media LLC Awards Banquet.

There is a Sam Adams Brewhouse on-site for the ‘Night of Champions’ after-party.

2015 STSS champions included Stewart Friesen of Sprakers, N.Y., in the North Region, Ryan Watt of Boyertown, Pa., in the South Region and Brian Carber of Pipersville, Pa., in the XCel 600 Modified mini-series.
