LARSON MARKS RACING TAKES MOMENTUM INTO NATIONAL OPEN

Mechanicsburg Pa.- September 30, 2016- Coming off a string of top-five finishes, including back-to-back wins, Larson Marks Racing takes momentum into Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Penn. with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series this weekend for the National Open.
NATIONAL OPEN 2015: Last year, both Thursday and Friday nights’ events were cancelled due to rain. On Saturday, Stewart qualified ninth and advanced one position in his heat race to finish third. After starting 20th in the main event, he was able to advance eight positions to finish 12th.
CONSISTENCY IS KEY: In the last nine races, the Larson Marks team has earned eight top-five finishes, including three wins, with an average finish of 3.67. In seven of the nine races, Stewart has advanced from his starting position by the drop of the checkered flag.
TWELVE WINS: The Larson Marks Racing team has earned 12 wins so far in 2016, eight of them with the World of Outlaws, the third most of any World of Outlaws driver. The team’s wins have come at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Ariz., Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway, Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, S.D., Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif., Hartford (Mich.) Speedway, Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, two wins at Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Ariz., and two wins at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.
LARSON MARKS RACING OWNERS: Larson Marks Racing is co-owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) driver Kyle Larson and NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) driver Justin Marks. Marks also owns GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, N.C., and is co-owner of HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks, a four-car NASCAR K&N Pro Series East team. Larson will be competing in the NSCS race and Marks in the NXS race this weekend at Dover International Speedway.
