The Brewerton Speedway would like to welcome new marketing partner, Thompson & Johnson Equipment Co., Inc.

Since 1954, Thompson & Johnson Equipment Co., Inc. has been providing new and used forklift and material handling equipment solutions from some of the top brands like Cascade, CLARK, Crown, Hoist, Sellick and Toyota to its customers from our Upstate New York locations in East Syracuse, Binghamton, Albany and Horseheads / Elmira, NY. We began to partner with customers long before it was in vogue.

From its humble beginnings, Thompson & Johnson grew rapidly, and by the 1970s was operating out of a 19,000 sq. ft. facility on ten acres of land in East Syracuse, New York. Today, the main facility stands at 45,000 sq. ft. with a 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse. In addition, three branches have been established in Elmira, Binghamton and Albany, New York, expanding Thompson & Johnson’s reach beyond the central area of the state into eastern New York, western Vermont and Massachusetts, and northeastern Pennsylvania.

Thompson & Johnson has more than 1,000 customers, primarily in warehousing, distribution and manufacturing, ranging in size from large, national chains to local businesses. Thompson & Johnson is approaching $40 million as a full-service material handling company with 142 employees whose average tenure is 11 years.

The Speedway is pleased to welcome back marketing partner Pro Edge Property Maintenance.

Pro Edge Property Maintenance is a family-owned and run, wife & husband team operating since 2007. In years prior, we have maintained as many as 213 residential lawns, multiple hotels & apartment complexes per week. We had 3 mowing crews and 2 full time landscaping crews. We quickly realized bigger isn’t always better. We competed and outperformed some of the biggest companies in Syracuse and surrounding areas. But we soon discovered it was nowhere near as satisfying as business was years prior when we were performing 100% of the work and made it a point to personally be on every property.

Our Vision.

That is why here at Pro Edge property maintenance our goal is to provide the best service possible to our clients, unmatched by any local competitor. We believe by staying small, having top notch equipment and the owner of the company performing 100% of the work is the only way to provide that. Yet still having the equipment and technology to be able to outperform the larger companies. Once these large companies become too big for their shoes, customers end up becoming just a number. The quality of work starts decreasing, because uncaring employees are now performing 90% of the work. Well this is something we refuse to let happen. Quality of work is our #1 priority and we go above and beyond to keep our clients happy. No Excuses. We make it a point to never get over extended and never make promises we can’t keep.
