RED WHITE & BLUE AUTOS NIGHT: SMOKEY THE BEAR TO VISIT WITH THE DCNR THIS FRIDAY AT BIG DIAMOND

Be sure to check out Big Diamond Speedway this Friday evening June 12 for the Red White and Blue Auto Sales Night, as you will not want to miss out on all the excitement. This week the Lias Tire 358 Modifieds will be back in action and last week’s winner, the “Ultimate Underdog”, John Willman will see if he can make it two wins in a row after taking home a $3000 payday last week for his win in the Modified feature event. Rick Laubach, Duane Howard, Billy Pauch, Kevin Beach, and MeMe DeSantis are a few others who will battle it out for the top spot in points.

The USS Achey Sportsman are in action and will be ready to challenge back to back winner Doug Hendricks. The talented field will be trying their best to stop his winning streak, such as Wayne Witmer, Charles Fayash, Mike Mammana, Tim Fitzpatrick, Daryl Dissinger and current points leader Mike Lisowski. These guys will be swapping positions throughout their qualifiers and feature trying to get the best finish possible including the ever popular trip to the Red White and Blue Auto Sales Victory Lane.

Jim Kost will try to be the best of the best in the Savage 61 Roadrunner class, but drivers such as Shon Elk, Chris Holland, Terry Kramer Jr, and Tim Fitzpatrick want to be the first ones across the finish line when the checker flag waves at the end of their 20 lap feature event. The last few races for the Roadrunners have been action packed and the winners have been decided coming down to the line as they have been battling hard each week.

Returning after their week off will the be Slifko Fabrication Street Stocks. Jasen Geesaman has been the dominate force so far this year, but Mike Radocha, Jeremy Becker and Rich Bossinger hope to end Geesemans winning streak and park their cars in the Red White and Blue Auto Sales Victory Lane this week.

There will be a Big Wheels Race for the kids at intermission time, all you need to do is bring along your little racer’s big wheel and be ready to race! There will be prizes for the kids and something for all participants as well.

Smokey the Bear will also be at the track this Friday along with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) with a few of their fire response brush trucks, coloring books for the kids, wristbands, and some reading information for the fans in attendance. Be sure to bring the family out to participate in the Big Wheel Races and meet Smokey the Bear!

The drivers and track have been working hard all week to prepare in order to put on a great show for the fans, so be sure to come out to Big Diamond Speedway Friday June 12 and cheer on your favorite drivers during the Red White and Blue Auto Sales night.

General Admission is $15, Senior Citizens are $13 and Active Military with ID and kids 12 and under are FREE!

Gates Open at 5:45 PM with Warm ups starting at 7:45 and racing getting underway at 8:15.
