_MG_0349-X2SPRING RUN, PA -June 23, 2016 – The kingpin of the Pennsylvania Posse clan of Sprint Car racers, Fred Rahmer, transitioned from full-time competitor to full-time promoter two years ago — holding events at Path Valley Speedway in Spring Run, Pennsylvania.

Yet, despite Rahmer’s Posse allegiance, the greatest racers in Central Pennsylvania remain winless at ‘The Path.’

“These guys just can’t get it together enough to beat the outsiders,” Rahmer said of his cohorts.  “It’s starting to feel like PA Posse versus the world.”

Outsiders Brady Bacon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Chad Kemenah of Findlay, Ohio have claimed Path Valley victories.  While, last year’s Speedweek event was won by Stevie Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma – a de facto Posse victory aboard a Rahmer-owned machine.

_MG_0491-XLGettysburg, PA’s Danny Dietrich and Dillsburg, PA’s Aaron Ott maintain the highest average finishing positions of all competitors at Path Valley and either could claim victory.  Dietrich finished in the runner-up spot in 2015, with TJ Stutts, Lance Dewease, Brent Marks, Ott, Lucas Wolfe, Ryan Taylor and Greg Hodnett all finishing in the top-10.

The Pennsylvania Posse quest for reclamation begins on Sunday, June 26 for the Third Annual Party at the Path 40-lap Harry Fletcher Memorial event paying $6,600 to win, $1,000 for tenth and $400 to take the green flag.

Bonus money for competitors is plentiful with a $500 Eagle Evergreens Quick Time Bonus, heat race wins will be rewarded with a $300 bonus courtesy of individual heat race sponsors: Freedom Power Sports, Buck Rubs, Emory Transmissions, and Pioneer Pole Buildings.

Racers competing in all three Fred Rahmer Promotions/Path Valley Speedway events this season, will be eligible for a random drawing to win a trip to Las Vegas.  Airfare and accommodations for two people for three-days/four-nights.

Party at the Path marks the third event of the legendary Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speedweek, ironically enough it’s Rahmer that holds 30 Speedweek wins – the most of any other driver — and 13 Speedweek Championships.

Also on the card is the popular 600cc Micro Sprints competing in a 25-lap event with $1,000 up for grabs.  Micro Sprint heat races will offer an additional $100 to the winner.

600cc Micro Sprint competitor Perfect Attendance bonuses include random drawings for a XXX Micro Sprint Racing Chassis, a $500 Hyper Racing Gift Certificate, and a test session in one of Fred Rahmer’s RBR Racing 410 Sprint Cars.  An additional test session will be awarded to the competitor that wins the season-long Micro Sprint Point Standings.

Race fans will be excited to hear that Leffler Energy, supporter of Fred Rahmer Promotions and RBR Racing, will offer up three flatscreen televisions to three lucky fans selected at random.

For the most excitement in all of Franklin County, Party at the Path provides a day chock-full of entertainment!

The event kicks off at 12 PM at Hammond’s Grove Picnic Area located at 19898 Hammond Road – approximate one mile from Path Valley Speedway.  Fans will be treated to free food, games, give-a-ways and live music courtesy of popular rock band, Southern Edge.  The RBR Racing Leffler Energy 410 Sprint Car will be on display, giving fans an intimate look at the powerful machines.

At 2 PM, Hammond’s Grove transforms into the ultimate display of power, as five-divisions of 1800 horsepower Mod Turbo Tractors competing in a Truck and Tractor Pull presented by Interstate Pullers. General admission Adult tickets for the Tractor Pull are $12 and Children 8-12 are $6.

The night concludes with the ever-exciting 410 Sprint Cars in the 40-Lap Harry Fletcher Tribute Race, as part of Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speedweek.  Also on the card, the 600cc Micro Sprints.  General Admission tickets at Path Valley Speedway are $20 and children under 12 are admitted FREE!  General Pit Access is $30.

A discount of $2 is available for fans attending both events.  Fans can purchase General Admission wristbands at the Path Valley Speedway Park starting at noon and can display that wristband at Hammond’s Grove to receive their discount.  Fans can also display their Tractor Pull Admission wristband at the Path Valley Speedway and receive the same discount.

A shuttle will be available to transport fans to Hammond’s Grove from Path Valley Speedway and back.  Tickets for the Path Valley Speedway event will be available for purchase at the Hammond’s Grove pre-race party.
