Event Marks First-Ever for Lucas Oil Series At Any Venue in Central Pennsylvania

Set to premier at the track for the first time ever as well as at any track in Central Pennsylvania, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will take up stakes at Port Royal Speedway on Sunday night, April 23, 2017.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series brings one of the top touring late model circuits in the world to the track that in the past has hosted other top late model circuits such as STARS, MACS and the World of Outlaws.

But missing from the history has been the Lucas Oil Series, until now.

The Sunday night program for the LOLMDS at Port Royal Speedway will pay $10,000 to win a 50-lap main for the super stock cars.

The amazing event will pay $800 just to start the feature.

Other big names on the circuit include Steve Francis, Tim McCreadie, Brandon Sheppard and Darrell Lanigan among others.

More details regarding this huge Port Royal late model event will be forthcoming as the 2017 speedway schedule of events begins to take shape.

The exact details of the racing program have yet to be completed however the date of April 23, 2017 marks the date when late model fans from near and far will want to attend Port Royal Speedway to see one of the greatest spectacles on dirt, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
