OSWEGO, NY (May 24, 2018) – Fresh off a sixth place finish in the 2017 Budweiser International Classic 200, the ‘Rowley Rocket’ Chris Perley will return to Oswego Speedway this weekend for more non-wing competition in the Vic Miller owned No. 44 on Saturday, May 26.

Perley, from Rowley, M.A., is a nine time Oswego winner in winged Supermodified competition, but has never won a non-wing main event at the ‘Steel Palace, however this year he will have a pretty good shot with select appearances in Miller’s 2016 Hawk Supermodified.

Thefourth place finish in last year’s Classic marked Perley’s best career non-wing effort at Oswego and this weekend he will have two chances to put the No. 44 back in victory lane at the ‘Big O’ after he won last year’s Jack Murphy Memorial ‘King of Wings’ event with the very same car in which he will compete with Saturday evening.

This Supermodified fan favorite joins fellow ISMA regular Dan Bowes and Dave McKnight as invaders for this weekend’s first ever running of the Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50’s.

Action at Oswego is set to get underway at 4pm this Saturday night with time trials for the Pathfinder Bank SBS and Supers before Supermodified heat races get underway first followed by SBS heats, the first Twin 50, the Tony White Memorial 35 for SBS, and the second Twin 50 for the Supermodifieds. General admission seating is just $25 and available for purchase by phoning the speedway box office at (315)-342-0646.
