New Egypt, NJ (September 3, 2018) – On Saturday, September 8 at New Egypt
Speedway, the season long battle for the 2018 Modified title along with the
accompanying $10,000 check will be decided during Modified Championship and
First Responders Night.

Following twin 20-lap features on September 1, a change took place at the
top of the Modified standings. After losing the point lead to Billy Pauch
Jr. on Saturday, August 18, David VanHorn regained the top spot with 795
points. Pauch Jr., who is the defending track champion, trails VanHorn by
only five markers. Danny Bouc is in third place with 743 and Brandon Grosso
is in fourth with 740. The top five is rounded out by John McClelland and
his 726 total in points.

Along with the Modifieds, the Hammer Sportsman, Street Stocks and
4-Cylinders will be in action. Plus, all First Responders will receive free
grandstand admission with proper identification.

On Saturday, September 8, the pit area at New Egypt Speedway opens at 3:00
p.m. with the grandstand gates unlocking at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps get cranked
up at 5:00 p.m. and the racing action begins at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the
grandstand is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens
12-15, $10 for military personal and their spouses with ID, and Kids 11 &
under are free. Pit admission is $30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and
$40 with no license.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great
Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt
oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best
competition in the country. New Egypt’s state-of-the-art facilities feature
daylight-quality lighting and excellent sightlines from any seat in the
house. The grandstands are fully wheelchair accessible with wide, clear,
and well-groomed walkways. Concession facilities serve up everything from
