MR. SPORTSMAN CLASSIC HEADLINES JULY 28TH PROGRAM AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY

New Egypt, NJ (July 24, 2018) – The Hammer Sportsman are set to headline the
July 28th racing program at New Egypt Speedway as they will be competing in
the second annual Mr. Sportsman Classic. The extra distance 30-lap affair
will reward the victor with a $750 check. Bob Lineman Jr., the winner of
last year’s Mr. Sportsman Classic, will be back to defend his title. Billy
Osmun, the 2017 Hammer Sportsman champion and current point leader, Cale
Ross, Art Liedl, David Burns, Pat Wall, Marty Resnick, Shaun Ratchford, Will
Dupree, Jimmy Amato and others are slated to be on hand to challenge
Lineman.

Also, the second annual Mr. Street Stock Classic is on tap for this night.
This 35-lap race will feature last year’s winner, Bill Liedtka, along with
others including current point leader Jon Meyer. The Larry’s Hot Rods &
Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Crate Modifieds & 4-Cylinders will
be in action as well.

On Saturday, July 28, the pit gates open at 4:00 p.m. with the grandstand
turnstiles unlocking at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps start at 6:00 p.m. and the first
green flag waves at 7:00 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $10 for adults,
$10 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens 12-15, $10 for military personal
and their spouses with ID, and Kids 11 & under are FREE. Pit admission is
$30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and $40 with no license.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great
Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt
oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best
competition in the country. New Egypt’s state-of-the-art facilities feature
daylight-quality lighting and excellent sightlines from any seat in the
house. The grandstands are fully wheelchair accessible with wide, clear,
and well-groomed walkways. Concession facilities serve up everything from
