Dundee NY – Now that racers and fans know that the foreseeable future of Outlaw Speedway is secure, they must quickly focus their attention toward the 2016 season. Several teams have pledged their allegiance to Outlaw Speedway and now sponsors are beginning to show their support.

Hig Fab Chassis, led by Dirt Modified competitor Jerry Higbie, has offered their support in a big way to the Crate Sportsman competitors. Meanwhile, Chris Gennarelli from CG Racing has pledged his support toward a special award for the Modified division in 2016.

Crate Sportsman drivers will be racing for a lot more than the $1,000-to-win track championship and $600-to-win weekly Friday night events. One lucky driver who finishes in the top ten in Crate Sportsman points at Outlaw Speedway will walk away with a brand new Hig Fab Chassis at the annual awards banquet.

“We are grateful to Jerry and the folks at Hig Fab for supporting Outlaw Speedway in 2016,” said new speedway owner Tyler Siri.

056“The beauty of this giveaway is that it won’t necessarily go to the track champion or even a competitor in the top five. Sometimes the drivers running sixth through tenth just need that extra boost to be a top five car. It could pay big to be loyal to Outlaw Speedway this season.”

On the Modified side of the early sponsor announcements, we find a new supporter to the speedway for 2016. Chris Gennarelli and his CG Racing team will compete weekly at Outlaw Speedway with their driver “The Doctor” Danny Johnson at the controls. Outlaw Speedway fans have been buzzing since this announcement, just one more reason why Outlaw will be the Friday night destination for exciting dirt racing.

Along with competing weekly with Johnson, Gennarelli has posted a $500 award for the Modified driver that has the most victories at season’s end. Johnson will compete for this award with one of the most competitive fields in the area, including drivers like Siri, Steve Paine, Derrick Podsiadlo, Brady Fultz, Donnie Lawson, Joe Dgien and Ron Cartwright Jr.

More driver and sponsor announcements are expected as we approach the opening weekend Outlaw Spring Nationals on Friday April 22nd and 23rd. This weekend will feature the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints, a Modified special, the Super Gen Products GRIT Racing Series and Fight Night All Star Street Stock Series among other divisions.
