MODIFIED 50-LAPPER, TWIN 4 CYLINDER RACES HIGHLIGHT WALL STADIUM THIS SATURDAY (JUNE 6)

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Downs Ford Modified stock cars in a 50-lap Triple Crown Series headliner and the Green Monster Insulation 4 Cylinder Stocks in two 25-lap main events highlight a four division, five feature race stock car racing program at Wall Stadium this Saturday night (June 6). Grandstands will open at 5:00 p.m. and qualifying is set for 6:00 p.m. with main events for all divisions to follow.

On the third mile high-banked paved oval speedway the Modifieds will continue the season-long war for the 2015 driving championship while running the second event in the three race Triple Crown Series. Defending champion Chas Okerson of Freehold will lead the way with plenty of competition coming from two-time winner Steven Reed of Jackson, Andrew Krause of Holmdel, Justin Gumley and Eric Mauriello, both of Howell and Brick’s Shawna Ingraham just to name a few.

The popular 4 Cylinder Stocks will battle in two 25-lappers with early season winners Ronnie Mullen and Jason Lane, both of Brick, and Wall’s Brien Crosby hoping to add to their early season totals.

The Snap-on Sportsman cars in a 30-lapper and the Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars in a 25-lapper will round out the regular divisions in racing action. Also on the card will be a special race for the Over 40 Legends and fans will be treated to giveaways galore during the evening.

Pit gates will open at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday; with practice starting at 3:00 p.m. Grandstands will open at 5:00 p.m. and qualifying is then set for 6:00 p.m. Main events for all divisions will follow.
Action will then continue on Sunday (June 7) as Wall Stadium presents the “Sunday Small-Car Series” starting at 11:00 a.m.

Wall Stadium presents professional motorsports events on Saturdays and Sundays through September with special post-season races in October and November.
