(LEHIGHTON, Pa. 9-3-15) The month of September kicks off with a busy night of asphalt racing at Mahoning Valley Speedway.

This coming Saturday evening, September 5, the Street Stocks get top billing as the 4th Annual Mike Krempasky Memorial Triple 19s will take place with three 19 lap feature races.

The event is named in honor of Mike Krempasky, the popular car owner who passed away prior to the start of the 2012 season. His driver, TJ Gursky, won three Street Stock titles at Mahoning 2011-‘12 and ’14. He is the only three time division titlist all while driving the No. 19 Monte Carlo.

As a special tribute to Krempasky, the class will race in three 19-lap features, each paying $419 to win. The 19 is the number that is synonymous on all of Krempasky’s cars. Mike’s son, Kyle Krempasky, runs the No. 19 in the Hobby Stocks and the rookie thus far has won three features.

Gursky still runs the car that is owned by Sheila Krempasky, Mike’s wife. Sheila and Kyle have been organizing the additional funds and contingencies that will be awarded to the field of entries. Lap money can still be received on Saturday for anyone wishing to do so.

Last year Rich Emel not only won his career first Mahoning Street Stock feature but he took a second win in the third main and was the overall top finisher. In between Randy Ahner Jr., also won.

The first 19-lapper will also count towards the 2015 American Rental Street Stock Gamblers Series.

Additionally, Mahoning Valley Speedway, in conjunction with the Sunoco Race of Champions, is excited to announce that Saturday’s Modified, Hobby Stock and overall Krempasky Street Stock winners will all earn guaranteed starting spots in the upcoming 65th Annual Sunoco Race of Champions slated for Sunday, October 4 at Chemung Speedrome in Chemung, NY.

RoC promoter Andrew Harpell will be on hand to meet with fans and drivers and have additional information about the new location of this year’s race, which takes place the day after Mahoning’s season point finale on October 3.

Saturday’s running order, which begins at 6:00 pm, will start with Street Stocks heats followed by the Late Models, Modifieds, Dirt Mods, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks. All consi’s will be run prior to intermission.

The first 19-lap Street Stock feature will roll off first then a 25 lap main for the Late Models, 35 lapper for the Modifieds, the second Street Stock race, the Dirt Mod 25, Pro 4 20, Hobby Stock 15 and finally the remaining 19 lap Street Stock feature.
