Brent Marks Racing is Texas Bound!

137MYERSTOWN, PA- February 24, 2016- After three, long months of preparation, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks is finally set to launch his 2016 racing campaign. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native will launch the new year in a big way; loading up and traveling south to “The Lone Star State” for a full weekend of World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars competition. The Texas trip will include visits to two different dirt venues, beginning with action at the Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, on Friday night, February 26. It will be a first-ever Texas appearance by Brent Marks Racing, as well as a first-ever Cotton Bowl Speedway appearance by the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars.

“We’re excited to finally get our season moving” Brent Marks said, “This will be our first time ever racing in Texas, so it will be fun to put a new state on our list of travels. It will be a fun, but competitive weekend racing with the World of Outlaws. Those guys can can adapt to new tracks and surfaces pretty quickly. We want to be able to do the same, so traveling to new areas and racing at new tracks is very important to us. I want to thank M&M Painting and Construction, BAPS, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, and all of my major sponsors and supporters for allowing this to happen. We hope to represent Pennsylvania well during our trip.”

Action will resume on Saturday evening, February 27, at the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas. The O’Reilly Auto Parts presents the World of Outlaws hosted by Kasey Kahne will headline action at the Houston-area venue, a first appearance by the “Greatest Show On Dirt” since 2011.

A second trip to “The Lone Star State” will follow just two months after his first appearance, as Brent Marks plans to return to Texas for the Texas Outlaw Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite on Friday and Saturday, April 22-23.

“M&M Painting and Construction is headquartered in Texas” Brent Marks explained, “We wanted to schedule a few trips south to show our support. I think traveling to outside areas is great for all of our marketing partners. It allows them to gain extra exposure and potentially find themselves in a new market. Hopefully we can travel south and prove that we can race anywhere and be competitive.”
