DSC_0067-660x442LEHIGHTON, Pa.- March 21,2016- After a very successful series of special event features for the Street Stock racers of Mahoning Valley Speedway last season, American Rental Equipment of Lehighton and Allentown is proud to be back as the official sponsor of the American Rental Street Stock Gamblers Series (ARSSGS).

In 2015 there was a six race series held and followed the same format as a poker game. Monetary prizes of $800, $500, $400, $300 and $200 respectively went to the top six in the series with Mahoning’s all-time leader in Street Stock feature wins, Todd Ahner, capturing to ARSSGS title.

“It works out really well for us. We’re a local business and we like to support the town by keeping our advertising dollars in this area. There is at least 10 or more guys a week from the Street Stock division that come in and visit the store each week,” said Mike Piechota, who operates the Lehighton American Rental Equipment store located at 511 Mahoning Drive East.

American Rental Equipment offers rental items that range from Bobcat excavators and backhoes to tile saws, pressure washers, stump grinders, chippers and lawn equipment. They also rent party equipment, including hot dog rollers, bounce houses, folding tables and chairs, and cotton candy and popcorn machines.

The store sells many of the same products that are offered as rentals. For example, they are a dealer for Ferris and BigDog zero-turn mowers. Ferris mowers are best known for their full suspension system, which allows for a smoother ride while mowing.

“We look forward to sponsoring the Gamblers Series again. It gives those guys something to look to when those events come up,” said Piechota, who will also be doing some driving in the Series when he will buckle into the Steve Hoffman No. 21 Camaro.

“I really like the Street Stocks at Mahoning Valley. It is one of the more competitive classes that the track has to offer,” added Piechota, who will also be doing some driving in the Series when he will buckle into the Steve Hoffman No. 21 Camaro.
