Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Back In Full Swing Heading to Can-AM

SYRACUSE, NY –May 13, 2016- After a very successful opening night where 32 sprints filled the pits at the Fulton Speedway, the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint (ESS) Tour is back in full gear with the first of three events at the Tiger Chapman promoted Can-Am Motorsports Park. The winner of the 25 lap A-Main will take home a cool $2,000.
Defending champion Steve Poirier picked up where he left off by taking the win at Fulton. He will be in the field at Can-Am but the list of sprints that are expected will give the Quebec star all he can handle.
Drivers such as Paul Kinney, Matt Tanner, Chuck Hebing, Paulie Colagiovanni, Tommy Wickham, Jeff Cook, Shawn Donath, Parker Evans, Sammy Reakes, Chad Miller, Mike Stelter, Dave Axton, Denny Peebles, James Hanson, Chris Jones, Zach Weigand, Keith Granholm, Tim Axton, Brandon Kidd, Paul Pekkonen, Kory Gurney and others should be on hand for an exciting night.
The Beard Sewer and Drain Timed Hot laps will start the action where fast time in each group is awarded $25, that is followed by the $25 to win Car Mate Trailer Heats, the $100 to win Cobra Coaches Dash for Cash and the $50 to win Lacaillade Masonry B-Main. That all leads up to the 25 lap A-Main that pays $2,000 to win and over $11,000 in cash total.
The winged warriors will be back at Can-Am on Friday, July 1 as a part of CNY Speedweek and also on Saturday, Sept. 10 for a special 9/11 tribute show.
Can-Am, the long time staple of the North Country holding it’s 40th ESS event, the Lucas Oil Gang…it will be excitement guaranteed!!!
