CHINA GROVE, NC — Red Bull Global Rallycross race winner Steve Arpin will again be behind the wheel of the #00 Jacob Companies car for Loenbro Motorsports during the series’ 2017 season.

In 2016, Jacob Companies and Loenbro teamed up to help Arpin race to his most successful Supercar season. That racing partnership is part of a broader business relationship between the two construction-industry companies.

“I’m excited to partner with Jacob Companies for the second year in a row,” Arpin said. “Not only did we develop a great relationship last year that included our first win together, but we also produced one of the best-looking cars, one that the fans voted best in the series.”

Jacob Companies and Loenbro Motorsports look for another strong year from Arpin as the 2017 season kicks off this weekend at Memphis International Raceway.

“All of us at Jacob Companies are looking forward to a long-lasting partnership and friendship between ourselves, Loenbro, and Loenbro Motorsports,” said Jacob Companies CEO Don Perry. “It’s exciting to work with a company whose interests and values align so closely with ours.”

Paul Leach, Loenbro Motorsports owner and president of Loenbro, is pleased that Jacob Companies has become such a good partner.

“After having the opportunity to meet Don and see Jacob Companies’ exceptional work, we felt this was a great partnership for us,” Leach said. “We’re both fortunate to share similar interests in racing and similar values in business and serving customers.

“We’re excited to work with Jacob Companies on the track and on projects off the track,” Leach said.

Arpin carried the Jacob Companies colors on his car for multiple events last year, finishing on the podium in each. He kicked off the partnership with a victory at the iconic Daytona International Speedway, then added a third place at Marine Corps Air Station New River. At season’s end, Arpin totaled a career-best four podiums, five heat victories, and took fourth in the Supercar standings.

Jacob Companies is a multifaceted construction firm with a focus on construction, development, design and technology services. Jacob provides clients with a wide range of services in the design-build and construction management sectors of the construction industry.

The Memphis race is April 28-29, with all drivers appearing on Beale Street on the evening of April 27 for a season kickoff party. The event can be seen on local NBC affiliates or streamed on the NBC Sports app on April 30 at 1 p.m. ET.
