LAPS NOW ON SALE FOR JUNE 18th FINALE

New Egypt, NJ – May 12, 2016- The ever-so-popular Lap Leader Bonus has returned for the 2016 edition of May Modified Madness at New Egypt Speedway. Last year Ryan Krachun pocketed over $500 for leading the most laps across the four May Modified Madness events by leading just seven more laps than John Stangle.
“With each of these events being handicap races, all the guys that need extra money the most will be starting toward the front. If they can lead laps consistently this will help them out tremendously in the long run,” said series promoter Pete MacDonald.
Lap sponsorship’s for the 35-lap, double points May Modified Madness finale Presented by Oliver Communications Group and Oliver Construction on June 18th, are now available at $20 per lap. Lap money will go to the driver who leads the most laps throughout the four-race series. If you wish to sponsor a lap e-mail ModifiedMadnessSeries@gmail.com. If all laps sell out we will double up.
The May Modified Madness Series is a unique, bracket-type series where drivers compete in a race within a race throughout the four 358 Modified races at New Egypt Speedway during the month of May and June. It culminates with the May Modified Madness Finale on June 18th, which will feature a 35-lap, double points 358 Modified feature paying a cool $2,700 to win and $325 from 13th to 24t.

May 14th – “The Top Twenty-Four” Round of 24 (30 Laps)
May 28th- Spike N’ Go Presents “The Dirty Dozen” Round of 12 (30 Laps)
June 4th- Amwell Auto Body Presents “The Slideways Six” Round of 6 (30 Laps)
June 18th- Oliver Communications Group & Oliver Construction Presents “The Finale” Round of 3 (35 Laps * Double Points)
