Macedon Parts Plus Offering Oil And Filters To Feature Winners

Fonda, NY -May 11, 2016- Pro Stock drivers sometimes feel overlooked, but fact is they put on some seriously good racing. King Of Dirt Racing offers a small yet ultra competitive series for the full-fender division that includes higher paying races. The support for the division is large and growing with the addition of Macedon Parts Plus. Thanks to long time manager Mike Welch, KOD feature winners will receive some plunder for their efforts.
Mike Welch is a familiar name in full-fender racing out west. For 14 years he roamed the Street Stock division until 4 years ago when he made the jump to the Pro Stock division. After hearing about the King Of Dirt Pro Stock division expanding to include Utica Rome Speedway in 2016 he wanted to become involved with helping out his fellow racers in some way along with driving his sharp looking double zero.
Enter Macedon Parts Plus where Welch has been the store manager for 17 years. The store located at 1930 Route 31 in Macedon, NY has been involved at the local level with tracks like Canandaigua, Rolling Wheels, Utica Rome, and Weedsport. They enjoy giving back to the divisions that support their store and now they wanted to support the full fender Pro Stock division on the King Of Dirt tour.
“Since King Of Dirt is growing we wanted to get involved and help support the full fender division honestly,” said Mike Welch, Macedon Parts Plus store manager.
“I’m glad to have Mike and Parts Plus from Macedon involved. I think it shows we’re pretty down to earth kind of series when folks like Mike are willing to get involved to support the drivers. We greatly appreciate what he’s doing not for King Of Dirt, but for the drivers. We’re just the ones who organize and promote his efforts, the drivers are the ones who benefit from it and that means a lot to us,” said KOD Promoter Rob Hazer.
For each of the scheduled five King Of dirt Pro Stock races the feature winner will receive a case of 15/50 Mobil One racing oil along with a Wix Racing oil filter from the Macedon Parts Plus store managed by Mike Welch. With most drivers on crate motors this should come in quite handy for those needed oil changes.
