Unique T-Shirts And Cash Bonus Await Qualifying Winners

087FONDA, NY- March 30, 2016- King Of Dirt Racing continues to improve on rewards for drivers supporting the series through the season. Of course these things are not possible without the help of amazing marketing partners and in 2016 JTees Screen Printing together with KOD will offer heat race winners a little something special.

Normally only the Northeast Crate Nationals has monetary prizes or trophies of some sort that accompany winning a qualifier. In 2016 the King Of Dirt Racing Series wanted to reward heat winners with a token of appreciation for supporting the series during the season. One way of doing that will be giving heat winning drivers their entry fees back in a manner of speaking.

While heat races on any series don’t pay anything unless there’s a sponsor. Well we have a unique system of collecting a $20 entry fee for all our races and $25 at the Nationals, which allows us to build a point fund and driver rewards program for our tour. We decided to reward heat race winners with a little piece of that this year by giving them $25 to win a heat. If we acquire a sponsor to match that each race, we’ll be able to reward $50 per heat winner. It’s a token of our appreciation for drivers supporting KOD races,” said KOD promoter Rob Hazer.

King Of Dirt Racing will reward both Crate Sportsman and Pro Stock drivers with the $25 bonus for heat wins to go along with 3 bonus points that are typically rewarded for heat victories. Something else both Sportsman and Pro Stock drivers can look forward to for winning a heat race in 2016, are limited edition and unique heat race winning T-Shirts from series sponsor J-Tees Screen Printing out of New Jersey.

J-Tees Screen printing is going into their third year in the business of screen printing custom shirts for a wide range of clients. Businesses, colleges, military departments, and of course race teams have received quality screen printing products at reasonable costs. Owned and operated by Tom Princiotta and Jessica Tronco, J-Tees has signed on as official heat race sponsors in 2016 to reward drivers with something neat to accompany the cash.

“We started our business to make shirts available to racers at affordable costs. We’re really excited about the opportunity to work with KOD in an expanded role. We’re going to offer the heat race winning t-shirts and put together some really cool series wear, so it’s going to be fun for us,” said co-owner Tom Princiotta.

Not only will Princiotta be working on T-Shirts for KOD with his partner and girlfriend Jess Tronco, but also ‘Tommy Gunn’ will be hitting the road to tour with the series full time in an effort to gain valuable experience. It’ll be the first time he has not raced New Egypt on a regular basis.

“Since we don’t have a home track for 2016, I decided to tour with KOD. I’m looking forward to it. They’re a group that cares about the drivers and the tracks they visit seem to have the same goal, which is rare in this game. I ran mostly Street Stocks before last year, which was my first in open wheel Sportsman Modifieds. I want to have fun touring, but I’m not just driving hours away to get my but handed to me. I’m there to compete and hopefully can qualify for each show. If I finish top 15 in points I’ll be happy, because I’ve never raced Bear Ridge, Utica Rome, or Lebanon Valley before,” concluded Princiotta.

Things are shaping up to be a great season for the King Of Dirt tours and this season drivers in both the Sportsman and Pro Stock divisions will receive a token of appreciation from both KOD and marketing partner J-Tees screen printing for winning a heat race. $25 and a commemorative T-Shirt await those who dare to win while throwing down for the crown.
