GEORGETOWN, DE – The nationally known World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series will storm into Sussex County, Delaware on Thursday, August 16.

For the second consecutive year, Georgetown Speedway will host the country’s best Super Late Model drivers in their only visit to the region.

And once again, Fulton Bank will play a key role in the event.

Fulton Bank has renewed its title sponsorship of the $10,000-to-win, 40-lap event which will again be known as the ‘Fulton Bank 40.’

In August 2017, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series made its inaugural appearance at the Georgetown half-mile before a standing-room-only crowd. After 40 laps, it was Ohio’s Devin Moran taking home the $10,000 ‘Fulton Bank 40’ payday by repelling the advances of Delaware native Austin Hubbard. Series champion Brandon Sheppard, Rick Eckert and Chris Madden completed the top five.

Joining the World of Outlaws Late Models on this year’s agenda are the Delaware Super Trucks, Delmarva Chargers and Little Lincolns.

Georgetown Speedway, originally constructed by Melvin L. Joseph in 1949, is located at the intersection of Route 113 and Speedway Road in Georgetown, Del., just miles from the Delaware beaches and less than a 40-minute drive from Ocean City, Md.
