FRANK COZZE AND RYAN WATT ADDED TO LIST OF INVADERS FOR 3RD ANNUAL ALL STAR CUP SHOOTOUT

New Egypt, NJ – Two time New Egypt Speedway track champion Frank Cozze and Ryan Watt are the latest invaders to confirm their entries intoSaturday’s All Star Cup Shootout paying $7,500 to win and $400 to start.

Cozze, who was the Modified champion in 2003 and 2005 and also amassed 26 career wins with his last coming in 2010 at the Ocean County oval, was rather enthusiastic when reached by phone on Thursday.

Ryan Watt another former New Egypt Speedway winner back in 2004, has also indicated he will be in attendance on Saturday as well chasing after the $7,500 top prize.

Other invaders include Dominick Buffalino, Doug Manmiller, John Willman, Kevin Beach, Tommy Scheetz, Duane Howard and Rick Laubach just to name a few. They’ll tackle NES regulars Billy Pauch, Ryan Godown, David VanHorn, Sammy Piazza, Billy Pauch Jr., Neal Williams, and more.

The All Star Cup Shootout weekend kicks off on Friday September 25th with the “Prelude to the Cup” featuring the “Big Rooster 20” In Memory of John Cornell Jr. for the Open Sportsman cars paying $1150 to win, the RaceSaver 305 Sprint Cars will be racing for $500 to win and the Black Flagged Racing Street Stock Spectacular paying a whopping $1,000 to the winner. Pit gates open at 3 pm, front gates open at 5 pm, hot laps begin at 6 pm, and racing starts at 7 pm. Adults are $20, teens 12-15 and military and their spouse are $10, and children 11 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $35 with any track or series license and $40 without.

DSC_0086Then the attention turns to Saturday’s All Star Cup Shootout featuring the All Star Cup 40 for the 358 Modifieds paying $7,500 to win with $400 to start. Also on the card are the 602 Crate Modifieds which will be competing for a huge $3,000 to win $350 to start purse and the North East Wingless Sprint Cars which will be 20 laps paying $1,500 to win and $150 to start as long as there is a ten car field. Pit gates open at 11 am, front gates open at 1 pm, Fan Fest is from 1-3 pm, hot laps begin at 4 pm, and the first green flag waves at 5 pm. Adults are $30, teens 12-15 and military and their spouses with ID are $15, and children 11 and under are FREE. Pit admission is $35 with any track or series license and $40 without. A two day general admission pass will be available for $45 for adults and $20 for teens and military.
