1-features0005FULTON, NY- May 19, 2016- After losing last Saturday’s racing program due to unfavorable weather conditions the Fulton Speedway is primed for racing excitement this Saturday, May 21st on VP Small Engine Fuels night.

This Saturday on the fast, affordable, family fun race schedule will be the ground shaking Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and JB Logging & Firewood Four Cylinders.

Jimmy Phelps is off to a hot start as he won the last feature at the Fulton Speedway on May 7th and the season opener last Friday, May 13th at the Brewerton Speedway in the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds. With an All-Star field of big block modifieds at the Fulton Speedway it’s anyone’s guess who will take the top prize.

1-heatsX0012In the first two points races on the “Highbanks” Ron Davis III and Todd Root have put their cars in victory lane in the SUNY Canton Sportsman. One look through the pits at the top notch equipment there is a large field of drivers who could put themselves in victory lane on any given Saturday night.

Defending Late Model track champion Chris Fleming is out to prove that his title in his rookie season in the division was no fluke and there is no such thing as a sophomore jinx. On May 7th Fleming parked Late Model in victory lane. The Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models put on some of the closet races you will see.

In their last feature event run the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman drove anything but like a learning division. The racing was fantastic with few caution periods to slow the action down. When the checkers waved Richie Riggs found himself in victory lane.

Like all the other divisions the JB Logging & Firewood Four Cylinders put a sharp looking and quick field of cars on the “Highbanks.” In the feature, Dakota Bechler made the tow from the North Country pay off as he outran the all-time feature winner in the class Chuck Powelczyk for the feature win.

Gates will open this Saturday at 5:00 with racing at 7:00. Adult admission is $12 with everyone 18 and under free. Pits are $27.
