Fall Jamboree to Crown Speedway Entertainment Champions at Grandview Speedway on November 1st and 2nd

Grandview Speedway will be hosting the 2014 Fall Jamboree on November 1st and 2nd, that will crown the champions of the SpeedSTR, All Star Slingshot and Junior Slingshot classes. The events are under the promotion of Speedway Entertainment. The SpeedSTR 2013 National Champion, Freddie Rahmer,Jr., moved to the 410 sprint cars for 2014 so the title is up for grabs with 2012 champion, Maxime Plante currently atop the point standings with sister, Josianne, residing in second. The American contingent is led right now by 2014 Action Track USA point champion, Billy Pauch,Jr., who is third in the national standings. Kenny Brightbill and Brad Brightbill are also in the top eight with a national points race at Mahoning Valley Speedway on October 26th, as part of their Octoberfast weekend.

The All Star Slingshots will be racing to name a 2014 champion as 3-time defending champion,Brett Bieber, from Oley, PA is in a challenging position after leading the latter part of the season, only to be overtaken by Dylan Hoch, who had two strong runs at the last two national events at Linda’s and Five Mile Point Speedways. Early season point leader Larry Raifsnider is also within grasp of the title as his #11R Slingshot has a tour win at Accord Speedway on September 5th.

The Junior Slingshots will be naming their Great 8 finishers after the final Fall Jamboree checkered on November 2nd. New York racers Damon Paul and Dillon Steuer have the top two spots heading to Grandview, but also within striking distance is Dylan Swinehart and Slingshot rookie, Kyle Smith.

No positions in these three classes have been settled yet and the double points being offered for the November 2nd showdown, anything is still possible.

The wingless 600 micro sprints that have cause quite a bit of attention among race fans of all classes will make two appearances during the Fall Jamboree as 2014 Action Track USA champion, Jay Hartman, will have his hands full with Billy Pauch,Jr. sweeping both micro events at Path Valley Speedway during Fall Jamboree weekend last November, looking to repeat at Grandview. Serving notice as a tough competitor at any wingless micro race is Eddie Strada, who has not only taken his hometrack, Hamlin Speedway, by storm this year, but attracted a fan following and some good finishes at the Action Track and Linda’s Speedway.

Looking to get some of the money being offered for both full days of racing are Frank Cozze, Tim Buckwalter, Earl Paules, Wayne Weaver, James Morris, 2014 Grandview Speedway modified point champion Jeff Strunk, Billy Pauch,Sr., Kyle Weiss, Linda’s SpeedSTR National winner Kyle Lick, John Bockhorn, Louden Reimert, Ryan Smith, Simon Egan and many more of the Action Track and Speedway Entertainment racers.
