batch_pm__georgetown_10_14_16-39GEORGETOWN, DE- October 25, 2016- A cool $1,000 winner’s share awaits one Crate Late Model driver at the conclusion of 20 laps Saturday, November 5 at Georgetown Speedway.

The Crate Late Model division makes its first 2016 appearance at Georgetown, the historic half-mile oval, as part of the two-day November 4-5 Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend Season Finale, featuring nine classes of stock car racing.

In just a few short days, the Crate Late Model event has grown significantly.

A sponsor who wishes to remain anonymous has stepped up to make the event $1,000 to win, with $100 just to take the green flag!

To accommodate the rules packages of neighboring speedways in Maryland and Virginia, both 604 and 602 crate engines will be permitted to take part in the event with staggered weights.

The first 602 across the line will receive a $100 cash bonus.

Complete rules for the event can be found at the following link:  http://www.thegeorgetownspeedway.com/?page_id=477
