J1280x897-21202OSWEGO, NY -March 1, 2016 – This Labor Day weekend, Oswego Speedway will celebrate the 60th running of the Budweiser International Classic 200 for Novelis Supermodifieds as well as the 25th running of the Bud Light SBS Classic 75 for Pathfinder Bank Small Block Supers, and individual lap sponsorships are now on sale for each of these historic events.

Lap sponsorships for the Budweiser International Classic 200 are once again set at $25 apiece, with laps for the Bud Light SBS Classic 75 available for $20.

In a change this season, for the first time the recipient of each lap’s payout is not guaranteed to be the lap leader.  Instead a random number generator will determine which position earns the cash bonus on each given lap.

When all laps are sold, this will add over $5,000 in available monies to the full field of the International Classic and $1,500 to the full field of the SBS Classic in an effort to help spread more funds through to the entire roster in each division.

J3469x2533-25614Laps can be purchased directly through the Oswego Speedway box office by calling (315) 342-0646 or by contacting Classic Weekend Lap Sponsorship Coordinator Jim Liccardi at (315) 342-5149.

Laps can also be purchased on race nights by visiting the Speedway box office or by checking in with Liccardi under the Speedway’s main grandstand, across from the Tiki Bar.

The deadline for lap purchases for 2016 Budweiser International Classic Weekend events is Saturday, June 18.

Following the lap purchase deadline, the randomly generated position payouts will be published on the Oswego Speedway website, for all to view.

Full Speedway ticket information and questions can be directed to the Speedway box office at (315) 342-0646.
