Bridgeport, NJ – Bridgeport Speedway has decided to push back Tuesday’s racing program to their original scheduled rain date of Wednesday, July 18. The Super Late Models, 358 small blocks, and USAC East Coast wingless 360 sprint cars will now thrill the crowd a day later on the all new Design for Vision/Sunglass Central 3/8 mile.

“And the trend continues here for us,” offered general manager Danny Serrano. “We were off this weekend and it was gorgeous weather of course….come back Tuesday and the forecast says 100% chance of thunderstorms. However, the silver lining in all of this is that Wednesdaylooks picture perfect for racing. It’s gonna be a hell of show and we’ve got tons of drivers that can’t wait to try out the new 3/8. We’ve been out there prepping it all day and this way we’ll be ready for Wednesday now,” Serrano added. “It’s not often you can see guys like Austin Hubbard, Billy Pauch, Eddie Strada, Kyle Hardy, Jeff Strunk, Mike Gular, Mark Bitner, Ryan Godown, Amanda Whaley, Coleby Frye, and Bernheisel all in one night!”

Pit gates open at 3pm while grandstands open at 5pm. Hot laps take place at 6:15 and racing begins at 7:15 pm. For more information please visit www.bpspeedway.com or check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and instagram.
