Great Start to 2016 Season for Dale Blaney

CHILLICCOTHE, OH- March 2, 2016- Confidence is high within the Mainstream Holdings, Inc., backed CH Motorsports team.
Dale Blaney has driven to a win and 10 top-10 finishes in the first 11 races of 2016.
“I can’t remember us running any more consistent than we have,” he said. “Arizona was great for us and I thought Florida was really, really good. Overall we’ve been really good and I’m excited about getting rolling again.”
Blaney kicked off the season by winning the opening round of the Winter Heat Sprint Car Showdown at Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Ariz., on Jan. 1. He scored four top-five finishes in the five races and finished second in the event standings.
The team continued to run up front last month during the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., where Blaney posted top-10 finishes in all five races following a runner-up result earlier in the month at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla.
“I think we probably have the third best team in the country,” he said. “I think we’re good enough to be in that spot. If you’re in that spot you should run good every night. Our expectations are to run for the win no matter where we go or who against. That’s how we feel and how confident we are.”
Blaney is slated to return to competition with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions on April 2 at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. He is coming off his sixth All Star title.
“Every year is different,” he said. “You have to prove yourself. You can’t live off last year or the year before. We’ve run great and hopefully we can continue to run better. Everybody has a lot of incentive and a lot to prove. My main goal is to be the best sprint car driver in the country and I haven’t achieved that yet.”
