American Racer Cup Weekend – Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th at Five Mile Point Speedway

Kirkwood NY.- September 23, 2016- The American Racer Cup Weekend at Five Mile Point Speedway is quickly approaching. The big weekend of racing is set for Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th. Since it’s inception the American Racer Cup program has awarded nearly 1 million dollars in product and cash to Modified and Sportsman drivers throughout the northeast.
The Modifieds will be in action on Friday night of the weekend. Racing will begin at 7:15 p.m. The Modified 45 lap event will pay $5,000 to win, $1,000 for tenth and $400 to take the green. There will also an American Racer Cup Champions Dash that will be 15 laps paying $2,000 to win and a free American Racer Tire to the teams that take the green in that event.
Entry blanks can be found at www.americanracercup.com or www.5milepointspeedway.com. Any Modified team that enters prior to October 1st will be in a drawing for a free American Racer Tire. Full information for the entire weekend can also be found on those sites.
For both Modified and Sportsman teams product certificates will be redeemed over the two-day weekend for drivers that participated in the 2016 program.
Five Mile Point Speedway will be hosting an open practice this Sunday and Sunday, October 2nd. Below is the full remaining 2016 race schedule.
