New Egypt, NJ – The 2018 season is hardly over and plans are already underway for the 2019 season at New Egypt Speedway. A 2019 schedule has already begun being drafted, with minimal changes.
All weekly divisions (Modifieds, Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Sportsman, Crate Modifieds Street Stocks & 4-Cylinders) will be back in action again next season in roughly the same capacity as they did in 2018.
Speedway management has already started fielding calls from competitors looking to build new cars and or return to racing at the Ocean County, NJ facility for 2019!
Plans for the 2018 Awards Banquet are currently underway; look for it to be at the same location as last season at the Clarion of Toms River.
New Egypt Speedway management is also working on scheduling its annual “roundtable” discussion meetings with its drivers and teams just as they have done in each of the past two seasons.
We still have two events on our calendar for 2018 though, one is the McGrew Equipment Auction, which will be held on Saturday November 10th at 8AM and the annual Race Car Parts Flea Market & Swap Meet which will be held on Saturday December 1st starting at 7:30AM.
New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country. New Egypt’s state-of-the-art facilities feature daylight-quality lighting and excellent sightlines from any seat in the house. The grandstands are fully wheelchair accessible with wide, clear, and well-groomed walkways. Concession facilities serve up everything from Jersey Burgers to ice cream treats at family-friendly prices.
