Kunkletown Pa. – March 1, 2017-In a rural area at the base of the Pocono Mountains near Kunkletown PA., is where dirt track racer Macy Litchauer of Litchauer Motorsports calls home. Macy’s racing career started with a dream in 2012 which was sparked by being a spectator at a local Quarter Midget race track.

At age 10, she had her quarter midget racing debut in the 2013 season with the support of her family, sponsors, and friends. In addition to racing quarter midgets, she also participated in kart racing 2014. The young racer has enjoyed over 90 wins as well as breaking track record lap times all before her 14th birthday.

I asked Macy what influenced her to race and she replied “I’ve always had an interest in cars and it looked like so much fun! I didn’t really see many girls doing it, and I knew it was something I just had to try.” Macy is equally comfortable with other drivers, fans, the media, and at personal appearances as she is behind the wheel of a racecar.

She shared with me how it felt the first time she was asked for her autograph: “It was NASCAR weekend at LVQMRC and I was going to the grandstands to visit my Memmy and Pappy. A group of people were there and said hey!  What car do you drive? I told them #99. A guy introduced himself and his family, then immediately asked me if i would autographing his shirt. I did sign his shirt, and they come back to the track almost every year to watch me race and have me autograph that original shirt I signed in 2013. It’s just a great feeling to know that you have fans out there who support you like that.

Macy will be trying something new this year: In addition to racing a wingless 600 micro sprint on a limited basis at Hamlin Speedway and possibly Kutztown. She is really excited about the upcoming season. Litchauer Motorsports is seeking sponsors for this season. you may reach them, by sending a message through their Facebook page. You can also follow Macy on the litchauer Motorsports facebook page: wwwfacebook.com/litchauermotorsports as well as visit their webpage:www.litchauermotorsports.com.
Macy’s career goals in racing are, she wants to be in the sport of racing a long time.
