35-LAP NASCAR 358 MODIFIED FEATURE TOPS THE ACTION AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAYSatStockCarsGrandview

BECHTELSVILLE, PA APRIL 8, 2015 . . . When there is extra money up for grabs the racers will be on top of their game to make sure they have an opportunity to take home the big bucks at Grandview Speedway. This Saturday, April 11th, the NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be battling for in excess of $3,000 to win the 35-lap main event. Actual racing starts at 7 p.m.

Duane Howard, coming off an impressive opening night victory, will be looking to pad his wallet with a second win at the Berks County clay oval. In addition to the $3,000 first place money posted by the track there will be a $250 bonus from T.P. Trailers of Limerick and a $150 VP Racing Fuels product award for the winner provided they meet the requirements of the special award sponsors.

Howard will have plenty of competition as Craig VonDohren tries to move up a position from his second place finish of last Saturday. Meme DeSantis was strong in the opener as he unveiled his new Norm Hansell mount to grab third. Others who performed well on opening night were Frank Cozze, Mike Kellner, Mike Gular, Doug Manmiller and others and they will all be back to try for a win in the rich 35-lap feature. Defending track champion Jeff Strunk was forced out of action late in the opening night action costing him a top finishing spot. He will be looking to change that this Saturday night.

Again this Saturday the BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars will be back in action producing another exciting tripleheader show of NASCAR stock car racing. A full series of qualifying events will lead up to the feature races for the top performers.

Adult admission for the special night of tripleheader racing action is $20 with youngsters 5 through 11 paying $5 and kids under 5 are admitted FREE. Active military are welcomed at Grandview and are admitted free with proper military identification.

As will happen each Saturday night the Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet will feature racers from each division in the main gate area at 5 p.m. when the spectator gates are opened. This Saturday last week’s Late Model feature winner Wayne Pfeil will be there to greet fans along with Mike Kellner and Jason Neidlinger. A great opportunity for photos, autographs and up close look at the race cars. Actual racing action starts at 7 p.m.

Pit gates for racers will be open at 3 p.m. with all racers required to sign in by 6 p.m. Pit admission is $30 and all those entering the pit area must have a NASCAR membership.
