SSPTV-13 Named as Official Sponsor of Best Appearing Car Award at NEPA Race Car Show
(WEST HAZLETON, PA. 1-25-15) When the 2nd Annual NEPA Race Car Show presented by B. Swartz Transport of Lehighton takes place the week of February 9-15 at the Laurel Mall, race vehicles will be everywhere throughout the expansive Hazleton area shopping center.
One of the tasks at hand will be deciding who has the best of show. To say the least it won’t be any easy decision as some very impressive mounts will be part of the week-long event.
Proudly taking on the challenge, however, will be local news personalities Jeannine Lesante-Mazurkiwecz and Ken Kara of SSPTV-13 who will have the privilege of judging the winner.
The SSPTV Best Appearing Car Award will be presented on Saturday, February 14 to the lucky winner during a 2:00 pm presentation.
Also throughout the week Kara, who is the SSPTV-13 news anchor, will be doing driver interviews that will be aired on the nightly broadcast.

One of the highlights of the show takes place on Friday, February 13, at 7:00 pm, where everyone is invited to a “Racers Night Out” which will be held at Lobitz Catering Hall in Hazle Township. Just a short drive from the Laurel Mall and located directly behind Fairway Chevrolet off PA Route 309, the Racers Night Out will be a great evening for all who attend.
There is a $10 fee payable at the door and includes plenty of great food plus an evening of driver interviews plus videographer Mike O’Brien of MoTorsport Video Production will be providing an assortment of racing videos to be shown throughout the night. Bob Hatcher, who maintains the popular Evergreen/Mahoning/Dorney Facebook page with loads of racing pictures of those tracks and many others across Pennsylvania, will be running a pictorial slide show of great memories.
