URC IS LOOKING FOR PAST CARS, DRIVERS, OWNERS, OFFICIALS AND FANS!
The United Racing Club and Bridgeport Speedway are trying to make the return of URC as a Club to the big 5/8ths for the first time since 2005 a really special event. Some what of a Club reunion!
Before racing takes place at Bridgeport Speedway on Sunday April 12 we will be having a racing get together called Fan Fest. Fan Fest will be held at the Pavilion behind the main grandstands. Already booked for the party is the band Whiskey Grin. Along with Race Cars and Drivers, there will be food, give a ways, bounce houses and more!
URC and Bridgeport are looking for any past URC racecars. Restored or rusty! Bring them out, show them off and have a good time with the Club again. We would like to have past URC Drivers, Owners, Officials and fans to come out to Bridgeport and help celebrate the return of the United Racing Club.
All current race teams are also welcome to come out early to hang out and show off their car if they would like to.
Anyone interested in participating please call or text Curt Michael at 302-344-1882 as soon as possible so Bridgeport can start advertising the names of the past and present URC members that will be coming.
