BECHTELSVILLE, PA May 13, 2019 . . . This Saturday night at Grandview Speedway there will be exciting racing action for both the open cockpit and stock car racing fans. The tripleheader show will have a 7:30 p.m. start.
The Rapid Tire United States Auto Club (USAC) East Coast Wingless Sprints will be making their first ever appearance on the one-third-mile banked clay oval. Sprint cars are known for being able to provide fans with great excitement on the Bechtelsville oval. Heading up the action will be such 360 Sprint standouts as Steve Drevicki, Eddie Strada, Alex Bright, and a host of others.
And the NASCAR stock car action will give the fans some edge of their seat action with Rick Laubach, making his first full time Grandview title effort, looking to overtake Craig Von Dohren in the championship chase. The Hellertown based Laubach will be looking to gain his first win of the season in the T.P. Trailers NASCAR Modified action. Despite not having a win to his credit Laubach is just 56 points behind leader Craig Von Dohren, a two feature winner already this season. Oley, PA based Von Dohren is a ten time NASCAR champion and leads the feature win department with 107 victories. Von Dohren has 1070 tallies.
Holding down third in the Modified point battle is “over 60 Hall of Famer” Frank Cozze with 903 counters.
Each of the Saturday night Modified events has drawn more than 40 entries.
Joining the Sprints and Modifieds will be the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman led by Coplay, PA’s Brad Grim who has 864 points followed by Mark Kemmerer who sits just three points behind. Both will lead a large field of Sportsman talents in the Saturday night action.

A full series of qualifying race events will lead up to the feature events in each of the three divisions.
The very popular Low Down & Dirty Meet and Greet, 5 P.M. at the main grandstand entrance, will feature cars and drivers that will be racing later in the evening. Modified racer Ryan Lilick and Sportsman talent Kyle Lilick will be meeting fans and will have their new t-shirts available for sale. In addition two of the top Sprint racing talents, Steven Drevicki and Eddie Strada, will be meeting fans.Adult admission is $20, youngsters 6 through 11 pay just $5 and kids under 6 are admitted free. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m.
And on Sunday, May 19th at 1 p.m. Outlaw Enduro and Blast from the Past Vintage Racers. Big Car Enduro (75-laps), Small Car Enduro (75-laps), Junkyard Car Race (50-laps), Savage 61 Roadrunners (20-lap feature plus qualifying), Vintage Cars (2-20-lap features), Mechanics Race (20-laps), Outlaw 4X4 Truck Series (Heats and Features on Obstacle Course). Adult admission is $10.
