World of Outlaws And Super DIRTcar Series Go Back To Back at Weedsport May 21-22

WEEDSPORT, NY -April 25, 2017 – Weedsport Speedway fans interested in attending both the Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series ‘Empire State Challenge’ on Sunday, May 21 and ‘Big Block Monday’ presented by Big Dog Country 103.5 FM for the Super DIRTcar Series on Monday, May 22, can do so for a discount, as long as they purchase tickets by Monday, May 1.
A 2-day adult general admission package is currently available for only $50, a savings of $5, from now through May 1.
Tickets for both days of opening action at Weedsport can be purchased online by visiting www.weedsportspeedway.com through the ShowClix application on the right hand side of the homepage or by calling the main box office at (315) 834-3067.
Reserved seating for the May 21 Craftsman World of Outlaws ‘Empire State Challenge’ is set at $35 with general admission seating available for $30. Students 11-17 are $15 with kids 10 and under, free.
‘Big Block Monday’ reserved seating is set at $29 with general admission tickets available for $25. Students 11-17 will be admitted for $10 with kids 10 and under, free.
Fans that purchase reserved seats for the ‘Empire State Challenge’ or ‘Big Block Monday’ on or before May 1 will also receive a Free Fan Pit Pass for that event.
Camping is available for both nights of action with reserved camping set at $25 per night, which includes water and electric hook-ups.
General camping, which is dry with no hook-ups, is available for $20 per night.
The opening double header will begin with the ‘Empire State Challenge’ on Sunday, May 21 featuring the Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and the Sportsman Shootout Series.
The event will mark the first stop of the season for the Outlaws to New York State.
Defending World of Outlaws Weedsport victor and series champion Donny Schatz currently leads the series standings yet again driving the Tony Stewart Racing No. 15, with six wins on the year.
CJB Motorsports pilot David Gravel has been on a hot streak as of late and trails Schatz by only 44-points in the runner-up position with Kasey Kahne Racing driver Brad Sweet, Jason Johnson, and Daryn Pittman currently filling the top five positions on tour.
Racing will continue on Monday, May 22 with ‘Big Block Monday’ presented by Big Dog Country 103.5 FM featuring the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds and the Sportsman Shootout Series.
The Super DIRTcar Series tour will open this Saturday at Fulton Speedway with another stop at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey on May 16 before coming to The Port for race number three of the season.
Racing will take the green flag each night at 7 p.m.
