New Egypt, NJ – With New Egypt Speedway’s Garden State Gunfight less than a week away, speedway management has added pre race activities including a Tuesday Night Tailgate Party and special Meet & Greet to be held before Tuesday night’s festivities.
Fans are welcome and encouraged to go all out tailgating in the speedway parking lot prior to Tuesday night’s race. Prizes to the Top-3 tailgate parties will be given out that include New Egypt Speedway tickets, apparel and more. Special guests will be doing the judging around 5:30 on Tuesday.
A pre race meet and greet is also going to be held in the grandstands just off of turn four starting at 4:30 that will feature driver autographs and a few of the machines that will be doing battle just a short while after.
The Garden State Gunfight will be a 60 Lap, Big Block vs. Small Block Modified event that will be paying $6,000 to win and $400 just to start. The Crate vs. Open Sportsman will also be on the card paying $1,000 to win and $100 to start.

Drivers confirming their appearance for next Tuesday include Rick Laubach, Frank Cozze, Jeff Strunk, Mike Barone, Dominick Buffalino, Wade Hendrickson, Duane Howard, Jimmy Blewett and more.
They will take on New Egypt Speedway regulars Billy Pauch Jr., Ryan Godown, Danny Bouc, David VanHorn, Willie Osmun, John McClelland, Brandon Grosso, Andrew Bohn, Chad Barney and more.
All racers in attendance on Tuesday night June 27th will be given 50 show up points toward their Saturday night point totals.
The schedule for Tuesday night the 27th is as follows; Pit Gates will swing open at 3PM, Grandstands will open at 4PM, Hot Laps are scheduled for 6PM and Racing is slated to begin at 7PM.
Adult admission is $25, Seniors (65& Up) are $23, Teens (12-15) & Military w/ID are $15 and as always Children 11 & Under are FREE! Pit Admission is $35 with any track license and $40 without.
New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike.
