BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 15, 2018 . . . Looking for a great way to celebrate Father’s Day, a little early? NASCAR stock car racing at Grandview Speedway is the answer. Gather up the entire family, don’t forget dad, and head off to Bechtelsville, PA to participate in the excitement of T.P.Trailers & Truck Equipment Night which will feature the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock cars.
The great thing, in addition to all the exciting racing action, is the cost. Adult admission is just $15 and youngsters under 12 are admitted free. And there is free parking on the speedway grounds. There is a great selection of concession items and the fully stocked souvenir and photo stands are ready to serve you. And every seat affords fans a clear view of the action.
Fans have the opportunity to meet a couple of the weekly racers in the Low Down & Dirty Internet Radio Meet and Greet taking place near the main gate starting at 5 p.m., just 30-minutes before the ticket windows open. Featured this Saturday will be Sportsman racer Jesse Landis and Grandview veteran Modified racer Ron Kline.
At least 12 events of stock car racing are planned with a 30 lap feature topping the evening for the NASCAR Modifieds with 28 cars starting. The Late Models and Sportsman will each race in 25 lap features. Of course there are a full series of qualifying events leading up to the features.
When the racing action is complete everyone is invited to the pits to meet the racers, see the cars up close, collect autographs and take photos.
So there you have it, a great night of family fun watching exciting stock car racing. It is indeed a great way to kick off Father’s Day a little early.
