Swap Meet/Racers Flea Market/Race Car Street Rod Show to be Held at Mahoning Valley Speedway March 21

(LEHIGHTON, Pa. 3-1-15) Mahoning Valley Speedway will be holding a Swap Meet, Racers Flea Market and Race Car/Street Rod Show on Saturday, March 21 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

All types of race and rod cars are invited to partake in the event that will be held at the Mahoning Valley Farmers Market which is adjacent to the speedway on PA route 443 just west of Lehighton.

A “Best Appearing Car Award” will be presented.

This will also be the final day for racers to reserve their pit spots from last year. Afterwards it will be first-come-first-serve. Anyone wishing to buy their 2015 pit licenses can do so during the listed event hours.

Rain date is Sunday, March 22. There is no charge for vendors.

The following weekend, March 28-29, the track will be open for Test and Tune and again on April 4. Test and Tune, which runs from noon to 4:00 pm each day, is open to all competitors. Grandstand admission is free.

Saturday evening, April 11 at 6:00 pm Opening Night 2015 begins with a 125 lap Modified feature paying an impressive $5000 to win. It is also race number of the Central States Modified Gamblers Series.

All regular track classes will be in action including Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks.
