Record $60,000+ Purse Set for New Egypt All Star Cup

New Egypt Speedway for a record $60,000 + purse
New Egypt, NJ– The second annual All Star Cup Shootout at New Egypt Speedway is quickly approaching on Saturday, September 20th, and the invader entries are piling up to chase the $60,000-plus purse. Bridgeport’s Jimmy Horton, Richie Pratt Jr., and Dominick Buffalino along with Big Diamond’s Billy Pauch Jr. lead the list of Modified invaders looking to capture the $10,000 pay day for the 358 Modifieds. Modified drivers will also be competing for bonuses, contingencies, and lap money worth over an additional $4,200 thus far in addition to the purse paying out over $26,000.
The All Star Cup Shootout offers a full card of racing also featuring the Crate Modified and Racesaver® Sprints. The Crate Modifieds will be competing in a 30-lap feature event paying $5,000 to the winner and $250 to start. In addition they will be competing for bonuses, contingencies, and lap money worth over an additional $4,000 in addition to the purse paying out over $14,000. The Racesaver® Sprints will be competing in a 25-lap feature event paying $3,005 to win and $300 to take the green sponsored by Pioneer Pole Buildings. In addition they will be competing for bonuses, contingencies, and lap money worth over an additional $3,700 thus far in addition to the purse paying out over $20,000.
Invaders expected in the Crate Modified division include Penn Can’s Ryan Olsommer, Delaware’s Brendan Watkins and Scott Hitchins and Bridgeport’s CJ Jones. Invaders expected in the Racesaver ® Sprints include New York’s Scott Goodrich, Jeremy Quick, William Glover, Steve Glover, Mike Esposito, Ed Newhauser, Doug Creus, and Tyler Chartrand.
Entries for the second annual All Star Cup Shootout are coming in daily as are bonus and contingency awards to add to the over $92,000 in purse money, point fun money, bonuses, contingencies, and lap money.
