Rat Rod Night Heads To New Egypt Speedway This Coming Saturday June 8th

New Egypt, NJ – New Egypt Speedway will be hosting its first ever Rat Rod Night this coming Saturday night June 8th. All Rat Rod owners are welcomed to put their machines on display in our main parking lot as well as take part in our Rat Rod parade during intermission around the speedway on Saturday night, also all Rat Rod owners will receive ½ price admission to the grandstand this weekend!

The Vahlco Wheels Modifieds are in action again this coming weekend. Billy Pauch Jr.’s point lead has shrunk to just 22 markers over Danny Bouc following this past Saturday night’s Salute to our Veterans 40, Mikey Butler sits third with 423 points, Brandon Grosso fourth with 414 and there is a tie for fifth between Ryan Krachun and Ryan Godown with 390 points.

The Hammer Sportsman are back in attendance this coming weekend as well, with their points race all tied up at the top between Steve Davis and David Burns at 210 points, JT Trstensky sits third with 200 points, Opening Day winner Jim Housworth is fourth with 178 points and defending champion Bob Lineman Jr. currently sits fifth with 176 points.

The Street Stocks, Mike’s Performance Center 4-Cylinders and the Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman will also be in action as well. Jon Meyer leads the Street Stock standings over Bill Liedtka by just 8 points heading into this Saturday, Vern McLaughlin sits third with Billy Wroble and Brian Ludwig rounding out the top-5.

Mike Fox leads the Mike’s Performance Center 4-Cylinders by 20 markers over defending champion Joe Garey Sr. heading into this Saturdays racing action. Joe Garey Jr. sits third with Jimmy Avery and Dominick Antonelli completing the top-5.

Anthony Tramontana Jr. continues to lead the Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman standings over Ryan Krushinski, Zachary Merola, DJ Hunt and Vinny Troia. The series has produced five different winners thus far in nine events in 2019!

Pit gates will open at 4pm on Saturday night, the grandstand turnstiles will open at 5pm with hot laps starting at 6pm and the first green flag of the evening flying at 7pm!

Adult (16+) admission is $20, Seniors (65+) are $18, Teens (12-15) & Military w/ID are $10 while as always, Kids 11 & Under are FREE!
