$5 & $10 Fan Appreciation Deals In Place For Weekly Events At “Steel Palace”

OSWEGO, NY – A week after the announcement of Oswego Speedway’s 2016 yearlong and 60th annual International Classic Weekend ticket packages, Speedway officials are happy to announce two separate fan appreciation savings specials in this year’s weekly pricing at the ‘Steel Palace.’
The first of two reduced rate specials will take place on Saturday, May 21 featuring a 50-lap Novelis Supermodified main and a 30-lap Pathfinder Bank SBS feature.
For the first time in several seasons, the Speedway will race on three consecutive weekends in the month of May, with general admission seating available on May 21 for only $10. Padded reserved seating will be on sale for $15.
Following the Speedway’s successful $5 admission special last year, officials have decided to provide another $5 night in 2016, with a new race date.
The past two seasons the Speedway’s track championship combatants were forced to contend on rainout weekends, hampering many fans ability to take part in the action.
This season however on Saturday, August 20 fans will be able to enjoy the 2016 Road to the Championship finales for Novelis Supermodifieds and Pathfinder Bank SBS, the season’s second driver autograph session, and officially begin the countdown to Classic, for only $5 general admission.
The Speedway’s 60th annual Classic Weekend will also begin with a reduced rate special, inviting fans into the front grandstand on Friday, September 2 for open practice, International Classic and SBS Classic Time Trials, as well as SBS Classic heat races for only $5.
Fans who purchase Saturday/Sunday grandstand combo tickets for Classic Weekend will receive a voucher for FREE admission to Friday night qualifying.
The Speedway’s annual Classic Weekend Party in the Pits will return to Friday night, kick-starting as soon as the checkered flag falls with post-race pit entry free to fans.
