Orange County Fair Speedway Modified Winner to take home $3,500 weekly in 2016
Multiple sources have confirmed to us that the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY will pay $3,500 to win a weekly Modified feature during the 2016 season thus making them the highest paying to win Modified track in the North East.
In addition to $3,500 weekly, OCFS will have a $5,000 to win Modified race one Saturday a month and a midsummer $10,000 to win race as well.
While no announcement about the new purse structure has been made, Halmar Industries has invested a great deal of money into Orange County including a new covered grandstand roof, new seating, new pavement in front of the grandstands, painted the outside guardrail, in addition to new clay coming soon to the 5/8 mile oval. Halmar also put up a $10,000 bonus during Eastern States Weekend in October if a driver swept the Small Block and Big Block races that weekend.
Stewart Friesen and Jimmy Horton will both be racing under the Halmar banner in 2016 at Orange County.
