OSWEGO, NY (August 28, 2017) – It’s HERE! The wait is over, the 61st Budweiser Classic Week is upon us at Oswego Speedway as four different divisions in cars will take place in one of the richest, most well-known short track racing spectacles in the country.

With testing taking place all week long, official ‘Classic’ action gets underway this Friday, September 1 as Central New York Chevy Dealers ‘Pole Day’ Qualifying will take place for the Supermodifieds and Small Block Supers ahead of the Bud Light Classic 75 and Budweiser International Classic 200 with Pathfinder Bank SBS Semi-Finals following time trials. A ‘Party in the Pits’ featuring a performance by Dirtroad Ruckus along with the top 6 Pathfinder Bank SBS redraw will take place at the infield stage to conclude the evening’s program.

Saturday, September 2nd’s program is highlighted by the return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour for just the second time since 1989 as the Mod Squad will race 150-laps in the Toyota ‘Mod Classic’ 150 presented by McDonald’s. The Modifieds will be joined by the ISMA Supers, which will go 60-laps in the ISMA Supernationals. A driver autograph session to be held prior to the Modified feature will also take place on the frontstraightaway. Autographs are included in the price of admission.

On Sunday, September 3rd, the 61st running of the Budweiser International Classic 200 for Novelis Supermodifieds plus the 26th running of the Bud Light Classic 75 for Small Block Supermodifieds will take place along with Supermodified semi-finals and the SBS B-Main.

General admission seating is set at just $5 for Friday, $45 for Saturday and $55 for Sunday. Saturday and Sunday ticket holders will be admitted free for the Friday qualifying night. Qualifying action will begin at 5pm on Friday, 4:30pm on Saturday, and 12pm on Sunday.
